"I am a sophomore collegiate track athlete currently still in season. Just recently I had ran a new school record for the 10K race at my conference, representing El Camino Community College. I was so happy to open my first 10K of my season with a 36:58, a new PR as well. I am still training for my next 5K and 10K races.

Something I’d like to remind any athletes especially runners is recovery is just as important as your training. Having flat feet I am more prone to injuries so whenever I am home, I’m always wearing my Velous sandals around the house. The soft cushioned sandals are so comfortable and flexible, I always feel support in my arches. Now I wear it daily throughout the day!

I look forward to finishing up my track season strong and healthy!

Thank you once again for the opportunity and the chance to try the sandals, I’ve loved how flexible and cushioned they are!"

Carrie Ohm

"I’m a swimmer and a runner or triathlete.

I just officially started training for the Ironman 70.3 race in Santa Cruz and the Chicago Marathon, both are in the fall.

After the Ironman World Championships last October, I backed off training a bit to reset.  I used that time to focus on making art (I am a professor of art) and time with the family.

I am looking to try to balance between all the things I love: family, making art, teaching, training, and racing."
